02.29.08 NASCAR Takes a Pit Stop at McFadden's
NASCAR racers Kenny Wallace (co-host of Speed Channel’s "NASCAR This Morning" and "NASCAR Victory Lane" and star of FX's "NASCAR Drivers: 360"), Silver Crown National Championship winner Mike Bliss and Smash Mouth front man Steve Harwell (whose song, "You'll Never Catch Me" is on the soundtrack for "IMAX NASCAR 3D") all stopped in to McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon Thursday night, Feb. 28, for some pre-NASCAR rest and relaxation.
Harwell has been a huge fan of NASCAR for several years and is enjoying driving with Wallace and Bliss on the circuit (though not on the track). While all three signed autographs for fans in town for the NASCAR races at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Feb. 25 through March 2.
Harwell was so impressed with McFadden's fare that he said he plans to return with his wife to the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino’s newest venue.
